Although important to the Inca, and later to the Spaniards, Pisco's claim to fame today is their grape brandy that bears its name. Its most interesting attractions, however, are a flight over the mysterious Nazca Lines and and the rich concentration of sea lions and sea birds on the Ballestas Islands, about a half hour away by speedboat.
