    Vacation Package Itinerary
    Route: Ushuaia - Punta Arenas

    Day 1 (Wednesday): Ushuaia

  • Transfer form the airport or hotel in Ushuaia to the pier. Check-in at 245 San Mart?n Street, Ushuaia (from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.). And embark on the "Mare Australis" expedition cruiseship from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.The crew headed by the Captain will welcome you aboard for cocktails with your cruise companions. We will set sail to Punta Arenas navigating through the Beagle Channel and the Patagonian channels. We begin a great adventure

    Day 2 (Thursday): Cape Horn / Wulaia Bay
  • Navigation trough the Beagle Channel and Murray Channel to disembark in the CABO DE HORNOS (CAPE HORNS) National Park. Cape Horn is a natural sea wall of almost 425 metres high that was discovered on January 30, 1616 by a commercial expedition from the Netherlands organized by Isaac Le Maire. We disembark in Walaia Bay, where we will be able to visit one of the most important indigenious sites of the region.

    Day 3 (Friday): Pia Glacier / Garibaldi Glacier
  • Disembark at the the Bay of the G?nter Plushow Glacier and hike near the glacier.

    Day 4 (Saturday): Magdalena Island / Punta Arenas
  • Early in the morning we will disembark in Magdalena Island, the home of an enormous penguin colony with over 120.000 of them indifferent stages of breeding. We will take a walk to San Isidro Lighthouse. After our visit we will return to Punta Arenas where we dock at 11.00 AM and start disembarkation formalities. Thus our Adventure comes to its end.

  • South America Departure Tax:
    Upon departure in local currency or USD (cash only) the amount of $20 - 35 in some countries is required (amounts may vary daily based on currency fluctuations). Aircraft boarding will be denied to any passenger who fails to pay this tax which is collected after check-in and prior to boarding by Federal Airport staff.
  • Passport & Visa Requirements for Chile:
    Proper proof of citizenship is the sole responsibility of each passenger. Passengers with improper documentation will be refused boarding of aircraft, no exceptions. Identification requirements do change without notice and vary by nationality. Please check with the Chilean consulate office as to these requirements. For U.S. Citizens traveling for 90 days or less, usually a valid passport plus a one time "Reciprocity Fee" of $131 payable upon arrival into Chile is required. This fee is paid only once and is valid until the expiration of the passport. When length of travel is greater than 90 days, a visa is required.

    Restrictions
    Prices are per person based on double occupancy and a 21-day advance purchase. Purchases within 21 days will incur additional fees. Air carrier used in the package is based on gateway and availability at time of booking and multiple flights connections may be necessary. Flight departure times may be at any time on your requested departure day. Surcharges up to $50 per person each way may apply for travel Thursday through Monday depending on travel dates. Air taxes/Government-imposed fees/surcharges are excluded. These fees are in addition to the package prices and will be added to invoice. Travel is valid for these dates only. Certain other restrictions may apply, and offer is subject to change without notice. No request will be processed until full payment is received. Once submitted your request can take at least 24 hours to confirm. 2nd and 3rd choices for travel dates are highly recommended.
